Location and Accessibility:

Home base will be at the Hastings Community Learning Garden, a 2000sq ft permaculture demonstration garden nestled next to the Hastings Community Center (3096 E Hastings St) on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples.

The Community Center and much of the garden is entirely accessible, however some portions of the garden may offer difficulty for those with trouble navigating slopes and uneven terrain. Please let us know you have any concerns and we will do our best to support you.

We will also be travelling to a number of sites including the Strathcona Community Garden, Copley Orchard, and Cates Park. All travel plans will be organized after the beginning of the course.

This project is being supported by the lovely folks of the Hastings North Community Partners Group.

We couldn't have done this project with them!
